Applicant Data-Sharing Policy

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Vetted ("we", "us") handles the information you submit when you apply through one of our virtual assistant application forms, including forms shared directly by us and the application form on Vetted (formerly VA Jobs). Vetted is the data controller for this information.

2. What we collect

The information you provide in the application form: your name, professional details (category, skills, experience, availability, rates, country, timezone, languages, payment methods, typing speed), any links you include (portfolio, photo), and your contact details (email, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord).

3. How your information is used and shared

By submitting an application and ticking the consent box, you agree that we publish your application details as a profile on the Vetted directory (formerly VA Jobs), where prospective clients browse virtual assistants. Your profile information (name, professional details, photo and portfolio links) is visible to signed-in users of the directory. Your contact details are not publicly visible, they are only revealed to individual clients who pay for an introduction to you in order to contact and hire you directly.

We may also use your application to consider you for roles with us and our own clients. We do not sell your information to data brokers or use it for unrelated advertising.

4. Legal basis

We publish your profile on the directory on the basis of your consent, given via the required checkbox on the application form. Processing your application itself is carried out on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

5. Withdrawing consent & removal

You can withdraw your consent and have your profile removed from the directory at any time by emailing our support inbox from the email address you applied with. We will remove your listing promptly. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal, and clients who unlocked your contact details before removal may already hold them.

6. Retention

Your profile remains listed until you ask us to remove it or we take it down. Application records are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email our support inbox.
