Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 Aug 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Vetted ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What we provide

Vetted is a directory of virtual assistants ("VAs") that we have independently vetted through our own hiring pipeline. Account creation is free. Requesting an introduction to a VA, which reveals their full profile and direct contact details, costs credits; additional credits can be purchased at any time.

3. No employment or agency relationship

Vetted is an advertising directory, not an employment agency or employment business. Our tests and scores are quality controls applied before a profile is published, we do not select, recommend, supply, or introduce particular VAs to particular clients, and we play no part in any negotiation or engagement. Vetted is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, any engagement, contract, or payment arrangement between you and any VA listed in the directory. You are solely responsible for your own assessment of, negotiation with, contracting with, and payment of any VA you choose to hire. VAs are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Vetted. VAs are never charged to be listed.

4. Payment

Credits are available as one-off top-up packs and as monthly subscription plans, processed securely via Stripe. Subscription plans renew automatically each month until cancelled; you can cancel future renewals at any time from your account, effective at the end of the current billing period. Credits are consumed when you request an introduction, which reveals a VA's contact details. Top-up credits do not expire; each subscription renewal adds that plan's credit allotment, and unused plan credits roll over for one month. Credits are delivered immediately as digital content and, as set out in our Refund Policy, all purchases and introductions are final and non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. This does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Acceptable use

You must be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes. You agree not to scrape, redistribute, resell, or publicly republish directory contents or VA contact information obtained through the Service, and not to post or transmit unlawful content through it.

6. Your obligations for contact details you receive

When an introduction reveals a VA's contact details to you, you receive personal data and become an independent controller of it under UK GDPR. You agree to: use the details only to contact the VA about engaging their services; not sell, share, or transfer them to anyone else; keep them secure; and delete them on request from the VA or from us (for example where a VA withdraws from the directory). If you are outside the UK, you agree to protect the data to at least the standard required by UK data protection law.

7. Illegal content and reporting

Illegal content is not tolerated anywhere on the Service. Profiles are reviewed before and after publication, and anyone can report content to us via the report page. We review reports promptly and remove illegal content when we find it.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Vetted is not liable for the quality, conduct, or outcomes of work performed by any VA you engage through the directory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for credits.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to the contact address listed on our site.
